Anne McEneaney
Psychodynamic Counsellor

In-Person or Online Therapy sessions £80

I am an experienced psychodynamic counsellor and a registered member of the BACP.  In addition to my private practice, I work as a volunteer staff counsellor for a north London charity.

Psychodynamic counselling encourages a deeper understanding and insight of ourselves and our relationships which can then help you make the changes you want to live a richer and fuller life.

I can help you with a wide range of life difficulties. Together we can explore the issues that are troubling you whether these stem from your past, the present or your fears and anxieties about your future. My approach is warm, welcoming, and non-judgmental.    I always work sensitively and gently at the pace set by the client.

I specialise in:

Abuse, anxiety, attachment issues, bereavement, depression, divorce and separation, health anxiety, self-esteem, relationship and family difficulties, loneliness and isolation, loss, parenting problems, stress and women’s issues including menopause.

I offer short-term and long-term counselling, either face-to-face or online.  It’s important that you feel comfortable working with me, and for to us to establish whether my approach is right for you. So, before beginning therapy, I offer a free, no-obligation chat by phone or online. This usually lasts 20 minutes and gives us a chance to get to know each other and discuss what brings you to therapy.

I have lived in other countries.  Outside work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, walking my dog, yoga, reading and playing tennis.   My curiosity about people led me to train as a counsellor.

I offer therapy and counselling concessions to those that may need.
