North London Therapy Practice
Individual & Relationship Therapy, Counselling & Coaching
Clinical Supervision & Organisational Support
-
Our North London Therapy Practice is best described as integrative, meaning our practitioners are all experts in their own ways of working and specialise in a variety of areas. This variety means that when you approach North London Therapy you won't get a one-size-fits-all approach, you can access the right practitioner, tailored to your specific needs at the time you make contact.
-
Our practitioners work in person, online and some offer home visits. We have practitioners offering a variety of fee levels, reduced rate slots and working with popular health insurance companies.

-
When you first get in touch you are invited to either specify the practitioner you'd like to make an appointment with or, or if you’d like help getting to the right person we invite you to have an initial consultation with our Clinical Director Naomi Magnus, or Practice Manager, Danny Zane.
-
This initial consultation offers you the space to share a little about what brings you to get in touch at this time, what you are looking for support on, what you believe would work best for you and your budget and availability. Based on this information, we are able to make recommendations and book you in with a practitioner (psychotherapist, counsellor or coach) that suits your requirements.
-
At North London Therapy Practice we pride ourselves on our ability to provide a personalised, bespoke experience where you will be expertly matched with a practitioner who meets your needs, not only in terms of availability and format but also who works in a way that would suit your presenting issue, your goals and the way that you see and understand the world.
-
You are also able to book in directly with a practitioner of your choosing via our website and online booking system. Each member of the practice has their availability shown clearly on their specific page and this means you can easily click the appointment you’d like and book your slot instantly.
-
We can book in you initial appointment and send you a payment link which confirms the booking. Your practitioner will then be in touch with you directly to give you some details on attending the appointment and answering any questions you may have.
-
Once you have been matched with someone your practitioner and you will find a time that works consistently on the same day at the same time each week. This weekly format gives a steady and regular rhythm to the work and makes scheduling simpler. In some cases, you may decide to meet more or less than once a week where this is deemed necessary, this will be worked out together with your therapist/coach. More flexible timing is also possible where needed.
-
Before attending sessions, you will be expected to fill in your therapist/coach's contract, sharing some of your details and agreeing to their terms of working. You'll also be required to make payment for each session before the appointment begins.

-
In the initial appointment, you will discuss how many sessions you want. This can be a set time span, set number, or open ended. This decision will be made together and will be informed by many different factors.
A good therapist must create a new therapy with every person they see.
